Le comuni tenute quando lavorano in ambienti estremi soffrono di usura dovuta alla contaminazione con le polveri,
che di fatto si trasformano in abrasivi limitando a poche ore la vita della tenuta che opera
ad alte velocità e temperature.
Il labbro parapolvere in feltro, caricato con speciale grasso a basso punto di goccia, trattiene le polveri
con basse pressioni di contatto, mentre il calore libera il lubrificante che a sua volta protegge il labbro di tenuta
alle alte velocità.
Il particolare grasso impiegato inoltre limita la formazioni di scariche elettrostatiche.
Standard seals suffers short lifespan when used in harsh environment due to contamination:
dust trapped within the seal is actually abrasive and causes wear to rubber lips and shafts that spins at high speed
and relatively high temperature.
Special grease soaked felt fabric lip, with low drew point grease and low contact pressure, protects the seal rubber lips
from the dust while the grease keep the rubber lips lubricated for high speed operation.
The special grease also protect the parts from electrostatic discharge.
